Hi

I don't know if there is some literature about this but I can tell you what to do.

First you have to configure your RsLinx:

In RsLinx Gateway you have to go to Communication -> Configure drivers.

Select Ethernet\IP Driver -> Add New -> Chose your connecting name and OK -> OK -> Close.

DDE/OPC -> Topic Configuration

Now Browse your Connection -> Selectyour PLC -> PressNew -> Give The Name to access yourPLC from WinCC -> Done

You have to make this last procedure to all your plc you want to access from WinCC

Now go to WinCC and make a new connection on Tag management and choose OPC.chn

On the OPC connection right click and chose System Parameter

You will get a new box on screen OPC Item Manager

Browse LOCAL and chose RsLinx OPC Server -> Browse Server

Now go to the connections you created in RsLinx and choose the tags you want to add to your WinCC project clicking Add Items

This is the only thing I have done to configure my WinCC to access the Control logix PLC
