This repeater (6ES7972-0AA01-0XA0SIMATIC S7, RS485 REPEATER FOR) didn't have dignostic functionality. It wouldn't give you any diagostic information. If you need such information the repeater 6ES7972-0AB01-0XA0 SIMATIC S7, DIAGNOSIS-REPEATER is neccessary Good luck Sabine
