Can not Upload Program Block from an S7 200 CPU 224

Ambrose Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I have a Serious problem....."I can not downlolad the Program Block from an S7 200 224" (But I can successfuly download the System and Data Block) I had MicroWIN SP 7----the error i got was "The blocks are created in a latter version" So I downloaded SP 8 from some scruplous site because its not available on the Siemens site but it still failed. I changed the Language to chinese ang Grman but no success I went ahead and changed the Programming mode from SIMATIC to IEC1131-3 but still no joy I even checked for password protection in the uploaded System Block------It is set to Full(Level1)----meaning no password at all N.B Both the The MicroWIN SP 7 and SP 8 work pretty well with another S7 200 CPU i have.... I realy dont know what the problem is..... Could some bobdy please bail me out of this mess Thanks in advance

But finally I found that we need to change Language as chinese of Microwin. Then It was done success. Tool >> Option >> General >> Language. I dont know ur PLC language. Please try. Ambrose Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Thanks guys for your response. The CPU i have is not chinese. I do not want to lose the program in the CPU so i can not reset or clear the PLC memory. I must have access to the programm. Any other suggestions would help

Try a different cable. Do you know what was used to create and download the project to this first generation CPU? Do you know this? I read that in similar case like you (upload only DBs) regards older version of Microwin. Sorry, forget my previous suggestion. It was my mistake. I thought the problem is download function. I have MicroWin 4 SP7 and after uploading program blocks 100% MicroWin is fall down. I work with this version long time without problems. So I tried the same task make with second laptop mit older version of MicroWin. Older version wrote: "program blocks are newer version and cant be downloaded". Iupdated toSP7 and then it fall down how by first laptop. I cant reset CPU because I havent project backup but I need make same modification. Any idea? Third laptop with SP3 is the same - MicroWin fall down.

@lex_k Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I have a same problem with CPU 224XP CN REL 02.01, i set lalanguage for cheenese, microwin closes after uploading program blocks 100% (I tried with microwin sp6, sp7, sp8) If i do not check to upload program block, data and system blocks upload without any problems. Other s200 not cheenese upload wery well. os winxpsp3. sorry for my english)))
