Step 7 - problems with browsing for project

I was working on Russian project for last month and I had to change an option in Windows in "Language and Regional Settings" - language for non Unicode programs from Polish to Russian because I was doing some translation and I needed to do this for correct display of cyrilic font in my other programs. When I finished I change back to Polish this Windows option and my problem started. I wanted to browse for another project in Step7 (Open->Browse) and my Step7 cannot do this - it is just dead and I have to shut it down via Windows Task Manager. The same problem is with options Menage or Retrive. I change back Unicode language to Russian and on Russian Step7 is working normally. But I need to have Polish Unicode language back but than Step7 is not working properly Does anyone knows had such a problem? Does anyone knows what I can do?

In future I suggest you: 1.Go to the "General" tab in the "Properties - Project" dialog and enable the following option: "Can be opened in any language in the Windows Regional and Language Option (l. neutral)" 2. Do not use language-specific characters in projects. Better use only "English" characters. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
