In any case, if you are a new with FM350, the following manual is useful for commissioning SIMATIC FM 350-1 First Steps in Commissioning Also here's bellow the firmware update Firmware Update for FM350-1 (6ES7350-1AH03-0AE0) And here's bellow some configuration package: Configuration Package for FM 350-1 and FM 450-1 Counter Modules Hope these helps.

Now you want to measure RPM of motor. (do you have encoder there?). In this case, change FM350's the operating mode in Hardware configurator to RPM measurement or frequency measurement... New code dpwnloaded and the FM350 was changed from continuous counting to RPM and software gate, just not operating, code being checked, just wondered if anyone had come across a similar problem. Regards Jandagil Hi...jandagil At first you have check the FM HW configuration setting. I am not sure but may be some mistake is there.
