Problems with few picture windows

Kovsh Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have WinCC V7.0 + SP2 software. I have problems with few picture windows. Icreate test project for problem demonstration. There are two buttons B1 and B2 in start.pdl. Button B1 (Dynamic Wizard-Picture Function-Display WinCC Dialog Box) opens Picture Window B1 with B1.pdl and button B2 (Dynamic Wizard-Picture Function-Display WinCC Dialog Box) opens Picture Window B2 with B2.pdl. There are button B11 in B1.pdl and button B21 in B2.pdl (see Test_Pics.jpg PIC1) . Button B11 (Dynamic Wizard-Picture Function-Display WinCC Dialog Box) opens Picture Window B11 with B11.pdl and button B21 (Dynamic Wizard-Picture Function-Display WinCC Dialog Box) opens Picture Window B21 with B21.pdl. The point of problem is following: Picture Windows B1 and B2 are opened. Picture Window B1 covers Picture Window B2 (see Test_Pics.jpg PIC2). When button B11 is pushed, Picture Window B2 recovers Picture Windows B1 and B11 (see Test_Pics.jpg PIC3). How to fix this problem? Attachment Test_Pics.JPG (240 Downloads)

Kovsh Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi Bizur, I can’t define wished position. In real project, I have to show 3 different objects (picture windows) simultaneously. Each picture window contains few buttons with picture windows for confirmation. Size of picture windows is quite big, not enough place for all objects. Now when I try to operate with one of the objects an push some buttons, others objects moves to front.

Bizur Posts: 1530 Rating: (59)	Hello Kovsh, sorry, it would have been a nice and easy solution. I think, then you have to try out some other properties for picture window, like sizeable, independant picture and so on. I just shut down my WinCC, because I want to leave office now, so I can't have a (second) look at it. Let's go on on Tuesday, if you shouldn't have found a solution till then. On 3th of October we have official holiday in Germany. Best regards Bizur

Normally in a forum it is not usual to send "whole" projects to somebody to test it out, well but its only a small one. Bizur Posts: 1530 Rating: (59)	Hello Kovsh, I busy tested it, but I could not reproduce the behaviour you described. If I move an open picture window, and close it, it will be shown on its new,moved place as long as you don't call this picture (start.pdl) new. That's o.k., because you choosed "movable" for picture window. I can't get the situation you describe in your hardcopies. What did you do before? In your first picture everything looks alright. Picture B1 and B2 are opened and on its right place. When I push Button11, I never get picture B2 again opened. That would be wrong, too, because it is not programmed this way. What did you do between making these hardcopies. Do they show the state right behind clicking every time. Do you have any special configuration? Did you really test it with this little project, or did you put it out of a bigger context? Does this behaviour always appear from the beginning if you start your WinCC runtime. I know - a lot of questions, but I can't imagine a reason for something like this. Best regards Bizur

Picture Windows B1.pdl and B2.pdl are opened and arranged side by side (Test_Pics_0610.jpg Step1). 2. I move B1 to the right. B1 partial covers B2 (Test_Pics_0610.jpg Step2). 3. I click to the button B11. B2 recovers B1. Picture windows B1 and B11 are not visible, because B2 is on the front (Test_Pics_0610.jpg Step3). Bizur Posts: 1530 Rating: (59)	Hello Kovsh, I really must definitifly disagree concerning your english. It's pretty good to understand. I'm also not a native engish speaker. Thinking I speak a good and usable "german english". The jumping point of your theme is, that you didn't mention before, that you moved picture B1 to B2, that's why I asked you Bizur What did you do between making these hardcopies. Now I tried it out, and have got same result. I also tried to do it the other way round, to move Picture B2 and press B21. This way I don't have same result. So I'l have to go on playing around a little bit more, just to find out the difference. Best regards Bizur
