MP377 15 " Touch screen - not able to calibrate , Touch screen not working

MLFB No. 6AV6 5450DB100AX0 Reason could be Touch calibration is started and unit is repowered without completion of calibration , Is there any patch tool to overocome this problem Thanks and Regards, Arun

Some units - some part of touch screen works . tried OS Update - Tried to recalibrate - calibration does not complete . Can go to calibration screen , pointer goes on moving , but did not complete , we have to power off and power on , next power on we cannot use touch screen , we can use mouse Regards, Arun

Are they projected with ProTool or WinCC flexible, and wich version (SPs, HFs) exactly in this case? I am mean 10 at the same time are very strange. Can you exclude that EMC isn`t a cause in this case?

Some of touch screen faulty MP370 units are configured with WinCCflexi 2007 , later upgraded to WinCCflexi 2008 sp2 , some units are configured with protool pro in different Machine installations. We use siemens profibus cables and connectors between CPU313C-2DP snd MP370 HMI's there are Micromaster drives in the machines working with profius as a interface . I have to check on Electromagnetic radiation , Electromagnetic conduction should be within limits Thank you for the support. Regards, Arun

I would try a OS-update at one of the panels like Wizard wrotes. If you can also exlude a damage of the touch by a wrong touch handling (f .e. if someone press the touch to hard so the grid of the touch gets damaged). The only thing that can be done is then to send the panels to a repaircenter. best regards
