CPU314C-2 PN/DP integrated Analog input Problem!

Sardar99 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Dear All I have CPU314C-2 PN/DP, with 4 channels integrated Analog input that I need them for my project, I am recieving analog signal from weighing indicators ( I can choose 4-20mA or 0-10V), at the same time I am using Portal Step7 V11 for programming the the S7-300 CPU314C-2 PN/DP , I made the correct wiring for I and V also the hardware configuration for the analog inputs also I have tried both I & V from the hardware configuration but I can not receive the analog value from the input tags!!! I have tried a lot, any one could help me if I forgot something will be very appreciated. thanks and best regards

It is a common error to forget that the integratedanalog inputs of a CPU 314C-PN/DP are located at addresses PIW 800-PIW 808, and cannot be changed. Check to see what your HWConfig shows about the CPU IO addressing. Also have a look at the specs of the CPU in this manual: SIMATIC S7-300 CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Technical specifications Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Sardar99 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Dear Dchartier very thanks for your quick responce, acording to the hardware configuration the analog input by defalt starts from IW 800, 802, 804, 806, and can be changed!, but I leave it as defalt starts from IW 800, but still no any reading!

Try reading PIW800 and moving the value in say, MW100. Use a VAT table to display the transfered value from PIW800.
