Using AK 1703 RTU as Gateway

mcavdar Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I want to ask a question about the using AK 1703 ACP RTU as a gateway. In my system, there are 250 Emic RTU and 72 AK RTU's. And at the HMI Sicam 230 6.51. At this point I want to make communicate the Emics with Sicam 230 not directly but through the AK RTU's. Emics will send signals to AK RTU over the IEC-104 protocol and AK will send them to Sicam 230 with IEC-104 again. But, I have not enough experience on these issues. Can you help me, on configuration in Toolbox II to make what i want to do. (AK RTU's have CP-2010 CPU, and one SM-2556 protocol element.) (Emic's have CP-6010 CPU and SM-3499/ETTO protocol element) With Best Regards Metin Çavdar

tuanva06 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I notice you, there is a recommended limit for connection of SICAM RTU. You should connect max. 10 stations to an interface. If you have 250 Emic, you should have a lot of CP-2017 and SM-2558 modules
