Fault in Drive G120

Monik Modi Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hey guys...! When we stopped the AC DRIVE by pressing the stop P B. Then drive tripped by showing “FAULT 7801” After resetting this fault DRIVE works but after every stop we have to press the Reset PB located in the remote MCC room. NOTE: During diagnosis we came to know that when we locked the STOP PB instead of just pressing stop P B this problem was not observed.... so please give me a suggetion what should i do....?????

JensS Posts: 739 Rating: (55)	I guess that your ramp down is to fast. - use DC- Brake (p1230) - increase the down ramp Note: F07801 = Drive: Motor overcurrent Cause: The permissible motor limit current was exceeded. - effective current limit set too low. - current controller not correctly set. - U/f operation: Up ramp was set too short or the load is too high. - U/f operation: Short-circuit in the motor cable or ground fault. - U/f operation: Motor current does not match current of power unit. - Switch to rotating motor without flying restart function (p1200).

Hello This is Fault 7801 description is Motor over current so first Basic thing is check the out put cable R Y B and Motor connection later you go to this below steps. OFF2 (NONE) Acknowledge: IMMEDIATELY Cause: After an internal power-on command, the infeed or drive does not signal ready. - monitoring time is too short. - DC link voltage is not present. - associated infeed or drive of the signaling component is defective. - supply voltage incorrectly set. Remedy: - increase the monitoring time (p0857). - ensure that there is a DC link voltage. Check the DC link busbar. Enable the infeed. - replace the associated infeed or drive of the signaling component. - check the line supply voltage setting (p0210). See also: p0857 (Power unit monitoring time)
