And one of my OP7 is showing "READY FOR TRANSFER" display while switch ON. I'm having another set of system with same Sequence of Operation,Program, I/O'sand Hardware. I need to to take backup from working HMI and transfer to the other HMI. AndI having Protool V6.0 SP1 software, While installing the following error occur "Neither Protool CS nor Protool runtime V6.0is installed in your computer. Thesetup is terminated".Can anyone please suggest to proceed further. Expecting your replys. With Regards, Lovins

M Saad Khulsai Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Dear Lovins, For taking backup from an OP-7 you will need Prosave and communication cable 6XV1440-2KH32 with the following configuration 9Pin (PC Serial Port) to 15 Pin( OP-7 ) pin 3 RxD ------ pin 3 TxD pin 4 TxD ------ pin 2 RxD pin 12 Gnd ------ pin 5 Gnd pin 1-6-4 jumper pin 7-8 jumper Regards, Saad

And please see in sections15.1 (Initial commissioning) or 15.2 (Recomissioning) ofOP7, OP17 Operator Panelmanual, how to transfer the project to OP7. Hope this helps.

Regards, Lovins Hello Lovins, Do you use a USB to serial adapter? IF yes, I do not recommend it. Please use a PC with a COM port. Why is the connection interrupted while transferring a project with ProTool to an OP? Hope this helps.
