S7 300 Program lost when power cut off after a long time

kaka8x Advanced Member Joined: 11/29/2012 Last visit: 10/24/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am using CPU 313C-2DP in a system, now my system will cut off power for a longtime (3 months), I just wonder after a long time cut off power like that, the program in CPU will be lost or not? May I have to replace Battery for it? How to replace battery? Please help me, Thank you very much!

If its one with MMC (no battery) the program will not be lost, if it's one with memory card slot( big blue flash) and no memory card placed the program will be lost if battery empty. Regards, Marcjan

New generation CPU's have MMC card instead of battery & EPROM in which the program will never get erased during power cut off. Pl. Specify your cpu MLFB no. (ex. 6ES7-313X-XXX-AA0)...
