NSV Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	Dear All I am facing proble with touchscreen HMI 6AV6643-0CD01-1AX1-HMI.Touchscreen is not working.So temporarily we are operating with mouse. Is it frequent failure in Siemens Touch HMIs? What is Life time of these HMIs? Regards, Ninad S.Vaidya

I have panels running for 10 to 15 years without problem, but all depends on how much it's used, environment and if operator is handling the panel with care. Did you try calibration of the touch screen? This panel is allmost in discontinuation, so better buy the replacement type now. SIMATIC OP 77B, TP/OP 177B, TP/OP 277, MP 177, MP 277 and MP 377 to Be Declared Mature Products Regards, Marcjan
