This is the official text (from Siemens Mall): ------------------------snipp----------------------- Licensing The function blocks of Easy Motion Control require one runtime license for each CPU onto which they are loaded. The engineering interface for STEP7 up to V5.5 is included in Easy Motion Control V2.1 and can be installed without license. The engineering interface for STEP7 V11 or higher (TIA Portal) is included in Easy Motion Control V11 and requires one floating license per installation used, which is provided by a CoL and a license key on a USB stick. ---------------snipp---------------------The Runtimelicenses are just a paper and are only required for legal reasons, not for technical reasons. |
