P2P Spark Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am trying to do a simple modification to one of out machines on site. I've never had this problem in the past with downloading blocks or overwriting blocks. The program is in ladder logic and I've added a couple of networks (new lines). As above its coming up download (294:6) Unable to copy block FC11. SeeDownload issue.jpg Image. Hello, Every CPU has some limited resources and for S7-312,I think these resources should be really limited.I guess you have used a memory address out of defined structure of CPU or some similar issue like that.Check the specification of CPU for limitations and check your codes for any violation. You can also upload your codes here for our judgement as an alarm view doesn't provide too much data for a perfect solution. I hope these comments help Hamid Hosseini

P2P Spark Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Thank you for your reply. I think you might be right. I had to ad anothermemory bit address. From the symbols table you can see its using up to M124.7. I am using M130.0 to carry out my modification. See Download issue1.jpg. Am I right thinking that the capacity for this CPU is 127 for retentive memory bits? Regards Balak It is possible with CPUs with newer firmware versions.Check the sample here: Firmware V3.3 with new functions Encryption of blocks with S7-Block Privacy (only STEP7 V5.5 and higher) Enhanced HMI communication performance with parameterization in HW Config (only CPU 315(F)-2 DP) (only STEP7 V5.5 and higher) Increase of the logic operations visible in Block Status with LAD and FBD (online monitoring) (only STEP7 V5.5 and higher)
