Kach_man Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	connecting Logo 0ba8 to KTP1000 PN Basic HMI device Hello everyone I am an automation and robotic student and i am doing an internship in wich my mission is to make a data visualisation and data logging interface for an industrial electric oven commanded with a logo 0ba6. For technlogical purposes the comagnie choosed to replace the 0ba6 with a 0ba8 and i am in charge of connecting it to an HMI. I proposed to use the KTP1000 PN Basic HMI device but i am not sure of my choice due to my lack if experience, i would like to have some advices. I am also wondering about the profinet protocol that i have never used before (i am more specialised in micro-controllers) please fogrive my grammar mistakes i am still working on improving my english Thank you for reading

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/2/2026 Posts: 36395 Rating: (4546)	It is possible you can use the KTP1000PN Basic with a LOGO! Connect 0BA8. I will create you a minimal example during the day. Because of the PN protocol, you do not have to worry about it, the WinCC software offers for the LOGO! a special communication driver. Which WinCC TIA version do you use?
