I have a D425-2 PN, I want connect to webserver on CU.

When I need to log in, the default password and user does not work. (What I was doing auparanvent on a D425)
What is the difference between a D425 and D425-2.

I have the same problem but the machine shipped out without creating a login. I can't provide support for a machine 2000 miles away if I can't access the diagnostic features. And the customer is struggling. So how do I fix that without getting on an airplane?

Check the SIMOTION IT manual.  If I remember correctly, there is a hardware way of doing this involving one of the rotary switches.  I'm too lazy right now to look it up.

Edit:  Found it.

Alternatives without SCOUT:

Setting the service selector switch to position "8" restores Security Level Low. Using this method, the device can always be reset to Security Level low by hardware means.

Because only SIMOTION D modules are fitted with a service selector switch, this functionality is implemented on SIMOTION C modules by making an entry in the simotion.ini file. For this, the entry SERVICE_SELECTOR_MODE must be set to value 8.

by editing the UserDateBase.xml you mean to uncomment the code with administrator user? Please,see the picture, what I mean.
