Hi

I have a 315-2pn/dp and in other location some plc card with et200m. Two distance of two position is about 25Km. I have to use a pair of radio thet support only ethernet! and my et200m only profibus.

In seimens products there are et200 with ethernet? if no, what do I do?

i have problem in communicating ET200M and my PLC ,i'm using a pair of Radio (Ubiquiti),i've managed to ping ET200M's address but in runtime diagnostic it seems that the communication isn't established.

Since I do not know Ubiquity WIFI equipment, and you do not describe the Ubiquity model numbers you are using (so we can research them), maybe you should ask their support about how they (and if they are capable of) transfer Profinet frames and telegrams?

i think you didn't get me i'm trying to connect ET200MSP with my CPU( PLC) With RADIO COMMUNICATON UBIQUITI AC-GEN2 5GH the thing one is installed near the PLC and the other near my ET200MSP i have managed to ping ET200MSP's address but the communication isn't established.

What port on the CPU are you connecting to your radio? What is the part number of the interface module on your ET 200M station?

If you are working with a ET 200M, you have 2 choices to connect it to the CPU: 

- an IM 153-2 interface module using Profibus-DP.

- an IM 153-4 interface module using Profinet IO (Ethernet-based, so a more likely choice for WIFI)

As I was trying to explain earlier is that you might be attempting Profinet comms over your radio even if you are not aware of it.

Can you do a simple test, by bringing the CPU and ET 200M close enough to connect them with an Ethernet cable, with or without a switch, and see if they can establish connection?

Hi, let me clarify the communication i have a ET200SP(With I/O cards on the same rack) which i need to communicate with my CPU(another rack which is far away from my ET200SP ) withing radio (2 pair of Ubiquiti antenna) ,i successfully managed to ping the ET200SP address from a local pc in the PLC room but when i check HW Config online mode the communication isn't established;

this communication goes very well and successfully worked between tow s7-400 everything is okay but between my s7-4000 and ET200SP it doesn't.

if any one need other information to understand the situation, just let me know
