Hello Hussein, Yet, there are no much information on S7-1500H. Even the conference tag is still S7-1500. I will try to answer according to answers I already have from Siemens and also according to my experience with H systems compared to what I read in S7-1500H manual.
1&2 - As per Siemens guys' statements in SPS fair last week, the S7-1500 is mainly targeting discrete automation and it's not even for safety/critical applications in discrete automation. No Safety in S7-1500H. S7-1500H is not to replace S7-400H. The redundant controllers for process industry are the ones of 400H controllers which will be still available beyond 2030. [snip] Best regards, H-H |
