I have an application where we have 120 motors of same type in each and every manner. HMI will have a screen with 120 buttons (attached file: button are AT011, AT012...and so on).

When a user press any button (For e.g. AT011) then a popup appears (attached file : "Popup") and set a value of popup that mean for Button AT011 the value of popup is one (1), for AT012 >> its two (2) and so on.

So program know which motor's button is pressed. Now as you can see the Popup screen has few buttons and some data that should be displayed.

Now the question is how to use this one popup to use for all 120 motors. I know its easy to call using "Showpopscreen" as event of button but how to make buttons such a way that it only affect the function of enable or disable or auto or manual etc. only to the respective motor. For e.g. if user press AT011 then operation of any button (enable, disable, auto, manual etc.) will only effect AT011 not rest.

There is a very good feature in Factory Talk view HMI of Rockwell as following.

For e.g. Tag in PLC>> Motor_Enable [120] (array of 120)

Parameter Passing in HMI. it is parameter file.

Parameter File 1 : Temp = 1 (if button 1 is pressed (AT011) then it gives the value 1)

Parameter File 2 : Temp = 2 (if button 1 is pressed (AT012) then it gives the value 2)

and so on....

Now when button is pressed (for.e.g. AT011), then tag addressing at the event of button is as:

Motor_Enable[Temp]. So based on the value from button 1,2,3....it affect only relevant motor.

Now in TIA Portal, array type addressing is not allowed it gives an error.

Please suggest some solution to this problem, I do not want to create 120 screen.

you should use Adress Multiplexing. The Workflow and Function is explained in the following FAQ:

(its written for WinCC flexibel but you can use it also in WinCC in TIA Portal)

so you create one popup and use only Multiplexed Tags in the Screen. So when you klick on one of the Motor Buttons you can set an offset Value and open the popup.

You can have a maximum of one pop-up open at a time for WinCC Comfort / Advanced V13 SP1.

It is the same thing for WinCC Professional V13 SP1 as well.

As said by others, you should use faceplate.

We are also facing the same issue, i had 2000 alarms i need to use a popup screen on which i can do the settings for each alarms ie enable/disable, time delay etc and so on..

As you explained i wil use one Faceplate/Popup and if i select a particular alarm ,  a popup has to come through which i can do the settings for alarms. it looks like a huge task to create 1000 or more faceplates and do the settings.

is there any suitable solutions which i can do in a better way.
