Text type with Tag logging

Dear Everybody

     I use WinCC 7.4 SP1. I need to use tag logging function to store data in database. I found the problem when use text type because the data can't store in database. But integer type can store normally. Do you have ideas for store text type data ? I must store the text such as start / stop time by automatic.

   I think , in the help menu mentioned , we can archive value tag and show by text or trend. But in my case , I need to store textstring from tag to database or I mistake something ?

    I'm sorry. I thought , I can't store text in tag logging because I can't read the text data from database. I have new question. I store the data by tag logging like you but when I read from database by TAG:R,1,'0000-00-00 00:00:05.000'.'0000-00-00 00:00:00.000' , in tag logging table is blank. Can I read the text data from database by some ways?

For string : TAG_EX and for numeric : TAG.

   I have additional question. When I check stored data by write script "TAG_EX" , I found the data. But when I need to print report by tag logging runtime tag table function , the report is blank only textstring. Do I need to use another function or only write the script ? Because I need to export data from database directly.
