We have an PC477B wih WinCC and WIN AC RTX (6ES7676-1BA00-0CG0).
I make a image of this PC.

I see that in Image creator 3.3 that it is possible to create the virtual PC.

I want to know:

if we take the normal industrial machine and load and run  this virtual PC. This virtual PC communicate with components on profibus (digital input and output, ......)?

the communication is only possible if you use a USB Adapter (which is not working with WinAC) or a virtualisation system which supports PCI Passtrough (VMWare ESXI).

i don't know what you mean with "virtualized Profibus".
I talk about a pass trough of a PROFIBUS CP in a VMWare ESXi machine.
This is working here on my workplace very goog.
