I want to change the OP177B to some other HMI

pachu Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I have an OP177B HMI installed in the machine.Now I want to change the OP177B to some other HMI which has a bigger display size and comparitively same cost as OP177B. It will be better if I can convert the project in OP177B to the new HMI with out any drastic changes. Please let me know a possible option to change the OP177B.

Hi , it is obvious that when you go for Big Display compare to OP177B , Price would obviuosly Higher. You should go for KTP Series of HMI in your Case which has lower Price Range. Also, Please double Check/Compare all the Specification before ordering KTP Series HMI. Hope this Helps.

pachu Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	HI, Thanks for your suggestion.OP177 is having 6" display, I wish to have one with 7 or max8 and also the project can be directly converted by changing thr device type in the project. Cost is the critical point here, as it will add up the project cost.So I can manage a price increase upto 1lakh from OP177 which is costing xxxINR. And also from where can I get the price list of the siemens products?

But I understood that we require special software called TIA from Siemens for this. So if I have this software,is it possible to convert the project of OP177B(in Wincc) to KP700,just by clicking change device type. or else how to do the migration.
