I mean to activate I/O field by using script (with .activate).

I try and got error in runtime with "Object does not support this property or method".

I'm not sure if I did it wrong or system does not support.

Hello,

for activating the IO-field you can use the vb function".activate"
the keyboard won't open automatically with this function.

The IO-field will be selected untilsomeone selects another field or pushes another object. So I think it would be better to call this function when barcode reader starts reading the code, not with opening the screen (if this screen changeis not automatically)

Before reading this I figured the .Activate out... first vbscript ever!  I am using a scanner (RFID) which enters a DWORD in hex and then hits enter like a keyboard. Still a button needs to be pushed in order to activate an IO field. 
But you say, that you can "listen" on the USB-port for an input and then run the script? How do I achieve that?
