My situation is :

We have an SPM OPC Server DA installed, and we want to communicate the data to another PC.

(The other PC howerver, has WinCC installed in it, an old version V 6, it actually worked perfectly with the latest version but the Client doesn't want to upgrade THAT machine.)

But what I want to do is transfer data to an Excel sheet, so the Excel is to be considered as OPC DA Client .I know it's possible, but couldn't find anything well organized to use, just bits of VB codes here and there, so depressing.

In my situation I need to find a solution as fast as possible.
