DIAG Led on module SM1232 and ERROR Led on CPU are blinking,

HuynhHL Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, I try to connect module SM1232 (6ES7232-4HD32-0XB0) with CPU 1214 (6ES7214-1AG31-0XB0) but DIAG Led on module SM1232 and ERROR Led on CPU are blinking, I use TIA PORTAL V11 SP2 update 5 to download programme. Please help me, thanks.

Please help me, thanks. I'll start with the easy answers first. 1. Did you also download the hardware configuration to your plc that includes the SM1232? 2. Did you disable any hardware diagnostics for any unused channels? 3. Did you power down the plc before connecting the SM1232? 4. When you go online with portal, using the online & diagnostics option from the project tree for your PLC, what does the module identify as the problem? 5. In the plc diagnostic buffer, what entries help clarify what the error means?
