HMI n/w status with other multiple HMI.

Now i would like to confirm from my nearest HMI that...is it other location HMI also communicating with same PLC or not. My question is more clear to u from attchment. Note: We can check other HMI network IP packets condition from Start - Run - Ping 10.235.10.5. But this is not enough.... we need to confirm that is it other HMI siemens runtime "send/recv connectivity" is healthy or not. Thanks in Advance. S7 AUTOMAN Posts: 515 Rating: (56)	hi, try this out please.. in the plc set a memory bit cyclically(every 5 seconds or so) and in the HMI2 reset this bit whenever its value is 1(properties->change in value->reset to 0). now whenevr this particular memory bit stays at value 1 for more than 10 seconds or so(ie not getting resetted by the HMI2 since no communication), generate an alarm bit saying "no communication with HMI2". This is just a suggestion from me which you may try and not recommended.There may be other methods too

But i am waiting for other methods also .... in which we can directly display on HMI-1 screen status of other remote area HMI-2-3-4-5. Thanks again.
