Hello,

I am a beginner with CFC, and I have some questions, one I have the CFCs blocks with the ALARM_SQ; how can I introduce the message?because when I click Properties, the Message button is disable.

When I compile, the alarm_sq should create a DB just by them selves?

I will be really than k if somebody explain me carefully, because I really need to do it, I am a beginner.

1. Check if your CPU supports the function?HERE, read comments.
   
   
   
2. Check the procedure explained HERE to know how to use the function for an application(FB) in STL.My suggestion would be using the same procedure.Import your function in CFC.
   
   
3. After doing all, read Chapter 16 of this MANUAL (or any manual related to the version of CFC you are using) to find out how to make block types in CFC.This is the most difficult part of the 1st time users.Try to implement the same procedure here.

Hi hdhosseini!

I have been reading the info you sent me, but I still dont know how to do it. Because I have Win CC flexible, and in this link https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=23730649&caller=view , say that you need Win CC.

Win CC flexible doen´t support AS-OS Engineering,right?is it supports, where can I install it?There is not another way to do it.

As I explained, when I download the CFC chart, no DB is created to save there the message of the alarm. Any idea?I attach a picture.

• About WINCC Flexible , my knowledge is really limited so I can not provide you a constructive suggestion/comment.I am sure it works for WINCC but you can start a new thread in WINCC Flexible conference and ask from Experts there.
  
  
  
• I have tested the procedure for an S7-300 via MPI and it works with the block type.I checked your attachment and it is far from a working solution. CFC editor, as an intelligent software, can only offer a DB if you only import a FB.
