Thanks. 6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0 Successor product -----> 6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0 6GK7443-5DX04-0XE0 Successor product -----> 6GK7443-5DX05-0XE0 Hello, Please note that (CP443)-EX20 is a phased out product as from Feb. 2013 CP 443-1 declared a phased-out product (6GK7 443-1EX20-0XE0), type discontinuation to follow Sucessor of (CP443)-EX20 is6GK7443-1EX30-0XE0 Please follow sections 7.3 & 7.4 of thismanualto replace the old CP. And even for replacing (CP443)-EX11 to (CP443)-EX20, you will need to adapt the Step 7 software as descriped here in this FAQ: What should you watch out for when replacing the CP443-1 (6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0) with a CP443-1 (6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0 V1.0) in STEP 7 V5.4 SP3? Although Siemens put CP443-1 (EX20) is the successor of CP443-1 (EX11), but you can not replace them directly without modifing the software for the following reasons: CP443-1 (EX11) have an AUI port in addition to RJ45 port and if you have some partners connected to AUI interface, you may buy a converter to convert AUI to RJ45. As stated in chapter 5 of pdf provided in the following entry: What should you watch out for when upgrading from previous modules to the successor module CP443-1 or CP443-1 Advanced? If you replace the CP443-1EX11 with a CP443-1EX20 V1.0 in the HardwareConfiguration, the following parameters are not transferred automatically: The configured MAC address, IP address and subnet mask. The information about which network the module is connected to. The fixed settings of the Ethernet ports for "Transfer medium / Duplex". Connection information of the S7 connections in NetPro. You must enter these parameters manually in the project. Hope this helps.

Hisyd_b In HW Configuration, just right click on the CPU and choose replace object from the menu as attached. By doing this you will keep all your settings the same. VVago Posts: 784 Rating: (52)	Hello, When replacing module CP443-1 (6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0) with CP443-1 (6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0)you must modify the hardware configuration of your S7-400 station in STEP 7 in order to be able to use the additional functions of CP443-1 (6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0). You should expect that the STATUS codes are not equal to the different states between the different card types and firmware revisions.
