Dadoui Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hello I have already read the data with the block P_RCV from the CP340 to a DB6 but when I write this for affecting a bit stored in DB6 to another bit of DB5, It doesn't work : A DB5.DBX 0.0 // first line = DB6.DBX 0.0 // second line the first line is always red. I tryed to use Move with CONT language but it doesn't work because it's used to copy Bytes not bits. I 've already read the LIST programming Manual but couldn't find the source of this error. Please can anyone help me ?

In this block is not present the data type BYTE, however if you want to transfer the data type BYTE write L DB5.DBB0 T DB6.DBB0 Make sure you have created the data block DB5 and DB6.

Try it out. There must be some other problem. it is possible who has the language mnemonic is in German rather than English then instead of A DB5.DBX0.0 becomes U DB5.DBX0.0.

Any suggestions ?

I have this when runing CPU : attachment Attachment:capture.pdf (2 Downloads) So , there is a solution the first puzzle.You have used wrong operation based on language selection in SIMATIC Manager.To have more option for future go to Options-->Customize-->Language.Select English/English that is much easier for us to trace. As the attachment shows, as you are using check and assignment, your codes working perfectly.Content of RLO (VKE) is TRUE in first line and it is copied to target "DB6.DBX 0.0" in the 2nd line.Try use watch tables for more clarity.Also you can switch to LAD by using CTRL+1 for an easier view to interpret.

P_PANDE Posts: 72 Rating: (6)	You directly check the status of DB6. DBX0.0 into vat table. If still u are not getting on in vat table. Then check out for the same bit in ur logic somewhere else. Bexcuse here u r getting this bit on but if by some other logic ur logic writes 0 to the same bit after this logic. Then it will not show on in ur vat table also.
