Online monitoring of multi instance FB Problem!!!!

PDGANGANI Posts: 165 Rating: (19)	Hello everyone, I am using CPU 319 with Step-7 TIA V11. In my logic there is One Common Sequence logic Function Block(FB). I have called that FB many times as multy instance in program. Now problem is that when i want to monitor particular call of FB online with PLC then it dosent show actual status of bit and values. Is it possible to monitor particular call of multi instance FB logic?? Because in DB its showing actual value but online monitoring dosent match with DB's values. Please help.

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	That is a typical problem with multiinstances. But if any FB use its own DB, you can select the monitored call via DB-Number.

You can try "Call Environment" to monitor this. Open FB. In test mode select call environment. Select your monitored DB. This is how you can set the Call environment in TIA :

By setting the call environment, you can specify when the program status of a block is recorded.
The section " Setting the call environment for breakpoints" describes how to set the call environment for breakpoints.
Requirement
The block is open.
The CPU is in test mode.

Procedure
To set the call environment, follow these steps:
Open the "Testing" task card.
Click the "Change" button in the "Call environment" pane.
The "Call environment of a block" dialog opens.
Select the condition you want to apply.

Confirm your selection with "OK".
