Hi Mohini, have a look at this page: Applications & Tools If you enter 'PID control' in search items, you get a few application examples. Hope this helps! Regards jumo |

Don't think you can do with a single PID Controller. I believe you are looking for Override control with 2 or More PID Controllers but only one actuator/output. In this case look is in Applications & Toolsand search for PID Control as jumo stated. Selected the "Configurating with Override Control" to see options for doing Override Control. Note this application white paper talks about PidConL & PidConR APL Blocks, the PidConL uses the same algorithm as the CTRL_PID just an the APL format/style. You would have 4 PID Controllers (one each with a PV for: mill sound level, mill main drive power, bucket elevator power andpressure difference across mill) but only one output for material feed actuator. Each PID controller output would go through a Min or Max select block (depending on requirements) to come out with the single output. If the Override control is not what you are looking for please provide more detail on what you are trying to do. Another option would be to use the Model Prodective Control (MPC) from the APL Library. MPC prodives up to 4 Controlled Variables with 1 disturbance variable as inputs and upto 4 output MV's. Note with PCS 7 V8.1 it is planned to provide a larger MPC if need more inputs/outputs. cabreytj |
