Harjeet Singh Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am creating G120 VFD fuction block using ladder logic, I do not know how to link VFD address for instant PQW800 with FB. In attached picture, if user will enter only 800. how to link DRIVE_ADDRESS_INPUT to actual drive address PQW800. so that further addresses can be calculated in FB it self for Start, Stop, achknowlwgde, actual current, actual_speed etc. user need to define only starting address. thanks. And you will need to generate aWORD value out of the string inside your FB. The better way is to transfer only the numerical value(e.g. 800) and "know" inside your FB it is a PQW. STEP 7 V5: It best way is to us a INT input variable to get the adress into the FB. Inside the FB you must use a MOVE block to convert the INT input value to a WORD temp variable. This WORD variable you can use to call SFC 14/15 STEP 7 in TIA Portal: Use a HW_SUBMODULE input variable. What CPU do you use? S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500? Which Engeneering system? STEP 7 V5 or STEP 7 (V11, V12 or V13)in TIA Portal?

The value of 16384dez or 4000hex is 100% of the value stored in P2000 (P2002 or P2003) If P2000 is 1500/min and you want to run the drive with 500/min, you have to transfer 33%, 5461dex or 1555hex. This is done by the FC:5461dex=500.0/min / 1500.0/min *16384 Wrong display of actual current: What is the nominal current of your motor, what is in P2002?

P2002 is automaticly set when you run the Wizard in STARTER. I think it's general bigger than the rated motor current. And if you are at P2002, you can check P2003 too and add its value to (P2003_current) You must read the values of P2000, P2002 and P2003, and enter it's valies to the FC!
