ali alkarn Experienced Member Joined: 4/3/2014 Last visit: 4/22/2025 Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	Hello friends, I want to use the TM150 to evaluate six PT100 at the motor with SINAMICS S120 control module CU320-DP on version 4.3.1. Now I'm trying to commission the system as offline to make sure everything is ok but unfortunately im unable to add TM150 on this current control unit version. Should I update its version or there's other easier solution, and if so how to update the version. I attached a screenshot of the offline commissioning. LINKfor TM150 Link for FW V4.5 LINK for latest STARTER FW Update procedure: Delete the old CF Card (NOT the Keys directory) Copy the new FW to the CF Card insert the CF Card to CU320-2 Regards Christoph

ali alkarn Experienced Member Joined: 4/3/2014 Last visit: 4/22/2025 Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	Hello again, After updating the CF card version to 4.5 or 4.6 the starter program is not seeing the control unit anymore via LAN cable to commission it, also the system is working just fine without any fault which means the update precedure is ok, any idea why it's happening like this?? Also when I copy back the old CF card files (version 4.3.1) starter sees the control unit again. I'm using the last version of starter 4.4 which supports the 4.7 CF card version. Best regards

Do you see the CU if you use accessible Nodes in STARTER? If you can't connect with your project please take a look in the view "Target System Output" for error messages if you try to connect online, it can be that you have not Update the CU in the project to the new version? A screenshot of you problem can be very helpfull Regards Christoph

The best way to check is: open PG/PC settings in windows control manage set the access point DEVICE and S7ONLINE to the ethernet Interface of you PC which is connected to the CU start accessible Nodes in starter (not the device Assist!) ali alkarn Experienced Member Joined: 4/3/2014 Last visit: 4/22/2025 Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	Hello all, I've just figured out why sometimes my PG/PC didn't recognize my CU anymore after updating it's firmware, and I figured to spread my experience with this problem. while trying to search the available nodes I noticed that the CU address has been set to 0.0.0.0 after updating, so if you faced this problem you should assign a new address for the CU and the problem will be solved.
