Hi, how i can use profibus and step 7 manager to read parameter (output current, voltage) of mm440 inveter |

Hello KhanhLee The Profibus communication with MM4 drives can consist of 2 parts a) PKW -> For Reading / Writing Parameters b) PZD -> For Reading Actual Values & Status Words / Writing Setpoints and Control Words You can download the Manual of Profibus Module for Micromaster Drives from here : Operating Instructions: MICROMASTER PROFIBUS Optional Board Please go through the Section 3.4 : PKW Mechanism for Reading / Writing Parameters. I think this will provide you with all the details you need to Read / Write parameters from MM4 drives. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |

Hello KhannLee; In addition to Navnag's important information, have a look at these FAQs and discusiions on the subjet of PKW mechanisms. MICROMASTER 4 (MM4): What is important when setting up an MM4 with a Profibus module? MICROMASTER 440 DP The configuration of the drive over 4PKW Notice that: -you must select a PPO x appropriate for both PKW and PKZ integration in the Profibus-DP telegram, so try PPO1,PPO2, or PPO5 (see the second link above). - the telegram you set up fpr PKW evaluation must be continuous over the 4 WORDs to be transfered, which means yoiu must use SFC 14 and SFC 15 to exchange the data between the CPU and the drive.
