Hello.

In WinCC Flexible 2008 i've made a small alarm view, with a invisible button over, so when pressing this button it load's another alarm screen.

When doing the same in TIA - seems like the button automatically places below the alarm view - i've changed the order of the button, to be front, and the alarm view as backwards....

Is there a way to solve this?

Yes ok - just thought the other solution was possible, like in 2008SP3.... But i'm sure that the "activatescreen" works :)

The activate function of an alarm view for activating another screen doesn't work with me ...... 

I have a comfort panel TP700 panel.

Hi!

I've had the exact same problem with a TP1200. I tried the invisible button without success and I also tried the "activate" event with the same result.

I finally decided to use the "selection changed" event. This works ok but not as well as one wishes since it only works if an alarm is active and one has to press a different alarm than before for it to work.

Please let me know if someone figures out something that works better.

I know this thread was started in 2014 and no replies were given after 2015, but this issue still persists. Pretty annoying!

However, the soluiton as provided by Jens works. At least for TIA V16 Upd4. But the checkbox "Allow operator control" should be enabled. Without enabling this check box it doesn't work.
