You can view the online status of the FB as you would any normal code block. You will see that the variables used in each step is available.. but sometimes these are grouped together hidden from view - so press the (+) to view these. Alternatively you could view the values in a Watch Table. For example we have.. 1. #VALUE as one of the declare STAT variables 2. The block is called in OB1. 3. The DB used is called "CALCULATE_DB" 4. Write in the Watch Table: "CALCULATE_DB".VALUE OR 4. Open the "CALCULATE_DB" and left-click-drag VALUE from DB to Watch Table. -- I have had issues before when creating SCL code blocks. What I do: create a few M / MB / MW / MD variables, then put unique variables at each waypoint that I need to test. Then I create a Watch Table that refers to those variables. Then I have the block triggered once to get results. In this case it is of great help to have a test PLC or you can put the code into a dummy project using an "S7-1500" PLC and simulate the result (STEP7 Professional). Alternative to this you could create a secondary OB1 (OB123?) on a live PLC and do some testing while the process in the background is not disturbed. This makes more sense when using the FW4 PLC and if you are careful of your workflow. I hope this is of help. w

In My project I want to see the value of AltitudeAngle in Solar Function Block. Please help me how I can see the value that is being calculated by my program. Kindly help me. William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	Dear friend, Consider creating OB1 and call FB1 with a DB. FB1 will not run on its own.. it needs to be called from an OB. When you have created this call, you will have a DB available. Then follow my instructions given earlier. If you still have doubt, let us know. Regards. w

Is there any notes / tutorials that will show our friend from "chapter 0" how to program? His latest question relates to how to create variables for your program. @pavan: I hope that you are a student and that you missed a class or two. Else you and I have a problem - my schedule does not allow me to be your personal tutor at this time. If you are a student.. there is power in numbers - go talk to your fellow students and catch up. Group work was the single biggest thing that rescued me from failing my subjects. (sorry) w
