MGrewal Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi All, Need some help with SCOUT 4.4, I installedthe scout 4.4on WIN 7 ENT. All works ok excepet when i opened up a PLC project. scout is looking for an SSP sinumerik int V2.6 SP2. I downloaded it from Siemens but having some issues with installation. It fails due to version error. I am working with PLC project from STEP7 5.5 SP4. Does any one know the download link to SSP sinumerik int 2.6 SP2 that works with SCOUT 4.4? ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 22816 Rating: (3073)	Hello, there is no specific SSP SINUMERIK V2.6.2 for SIMOTION Scout V4.4. I have tested with the SSP from the STARTER V4.4 package. After modifiing the OS Section in the setup.ini file the installation was done without errors. You can copy the OS Settings from a never SSP (SSP_Sinamics_V4_7) setup.ini file and copy it to the SSP Setup.ini from the SINUMERIK SSP. Regards Christoph

MGrewal Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi Christoph, I copy the setups.ini from SSP_SINAMICS_V4_7 to SSP_SINUMERIK_INT_V2_6_SP2. Started the setup.exe from SINUMERIK folder but it fails with"product can not be installed on current version of SCOUT 4.4",Please see attachment.
