TIA PORTAL v13 - PC Adapter v5.1

I have installed Tia Portal V13 update 6 (Windows 7 32 Bits) and the neccesary Support Package to develop this device. And everything is Ok. Now, I'm going to download the application to the device through PC Adapter v5.1 (6ES7 972-0CA23-0XA0) but I can't. In Tia Portal, under "online accesses" I can't find the PC Adapter to configure It. I can only see USB, PLCSIM, TeleService and two ethernet connections. How can I add the PC adapter? Can I use the USB connection to download the application? Thank you for your support.

jgutierrez Member Joined: 12/1/2014 Last visit: 2/2/2024 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have new information. If I connect the PC Adapter MPI, It appears like COM3 in online accesses (see attachment). In online accesses I can't see any PC Adapter. Although, if I enter in "Set PC/PG Interface" through Control Panel, I can select PC Adapter (Auto, MPI, DP). If I select PC Adapter (Auto) and configure local conection in COM3, I can autodetect network parameters (profile, speed, etc). It shows me that driver is Ok and the problem is in Tia Portal, isn't it? Any advice? Thanks Attachment OnlineAccesses.jpg (1845 Downloads)

Please contact SIEMENS via Support Requestto get a official statement for this issue. Regards Christoph
