Husam Posts: 101 Rating: (14)	Hi, You need to establish a connection via Serial Port to the PLC. For this, you need to develop a dll file in .NET to communicate via the RS-232 PPI to the PLC where you can read/write data. I have done this earlier with VB.NET 2003

Sunar Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Here is a C# example. Siemens PCAccess is required with this example. Open the sample with Visual c# 2005. Change the reference to your installed SiemensOPCdotNetLib.dll Configure your address, etc. Attachment CSdotNetSample.zip (534 Downloads)

So what it is, and where i can find it, to run a sample. Some alternative way I found: - commercial OCX http://www.plccontrolsoftware.com/products/index.html - free GNU project http://sourceforge.net/projects/libnodave/ If anyone use(ed) some of them, please tell about success/fail experience. Thanks!

Latest I know is SP4: [url]http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/39055669[/url] And there you find the file at PC-Access folder ..\samples\visual basic.NET regards
