Hello experts, I am quite the novice I have to admit, so excuse my question if it is a stupid one; Is there any way to change or disable or hide the cursor for a KTP700 in TIAportal? it has WINcc basic. I can find non of the above stated options and I have used the search function in the PDF manual to no avail. Thanks in advance for you help.

Hello BorAq, for first, there is no way to change mouse pointer directly on KTP700 panel. As far as I know. Windows CE does not provide a operating system change of mouse pointer (there is no menu item for this task). Maybe someone of Simatic-panel forum can help us. But please try to change pointer via C-script. Function SetCursor() is provided in Win CE (please search on Microsoft developer network). And remember: WinCE provides different functions than Win7! Maybe this will help. But I'm not sure: if Comfort-panels do not provide scripting-functionality you will not succeed. Georg |

Hi there. Recently we were doing a project with the KTP700 Basic Panel. We were looking for the same type functionality. It seems as though this "2nd generation" HMI does not have teh ability to hide the mouse cursor. I am however very sure I saw the setting in the Windows CE options of a older HMI (KTP600?). It is however fair to mention the "2nd generation" HMIs do not run on Windows CE. ..so it is a case of grin and bear it. w |
