s7 1200 with cm1241 parallel to fuji plc and to fetch the data from slave devices?

BALAKRISHNAN92 Silver Member Joined: 10/21/2013 Last visit: 6/29/2025 Posts: 424 Rating: (28)	hi all, I m sorry for interrupting i got a doubt ....my customer has 42 modbus rtu slave devices connected to fuji plc from this data are shown in fuji HMI.....now they want the same data in siemens scada system...any suggestion please???is it possible to have s7 1200 with cm1241 parallel to fuji plc and to fetch the data from slave devices??? is there any restriction like oly one master can be in a network?// -------------------- New subject after splitting from S7 1200 Modbus RTU Connection.

Arno81 Posts: 98 Rating: (9)	Hello BALAKRISHNAN, on Modbus RTU there is no chance to connect to the Slaves parralel to FUJI plc. As the collegues told you Modbus TCP makes that possible but that won´t help you because there is RTU. My idea is to use the S7-1200 with the CM1241 to read the Data out from the Fuji plc, so the SCADA can read it out of the 1200 via S7 connection.. best regards
