My PLC is new 1212C DCDCDC v.4.

And I use "Admin", so I can not login. did you have a simple?

Did you placed any password for your PLC???

The webserver in V4.0 is differently than in V3.0 and older.

Where you have in V3.0 the standard “admin” user with administrative rights (do not use capital letters)

You don’t have a standard user in version 4.0. you have to configure a user. According the User management in the Device configuration there is a “Everybody” user standard with minimum rights.

This “Everybody” is not a real user but is just there to assign rights to Everybody that is accessing the webserver.

If you want to have a user with administrative rights on the webserver than you have to add a user to the user administrative list.

So if you haven’t added any user or password to your brand new PLC project than you simply can’t login because there aren’t any users.

The Siemens demo project is based on a Tia V11 and PLC V2.2 . it’s probably too much work for Siemens to update this to the latest versions of hardware and software .
