WITLOCK Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I need to use the frequency output from HS counter 2 as the input to the PID block. I can not get the ID1004 location (DWord) to convert to a real for input to the PID. I am using an encoder to determine the speed of a sliding door and controll it with the PID block.

Declare the ID1004 as a DINT in the symbol table. 2. Use the CONV (convert) function setting the input type as DINT and output type as REAL. Helpful? w
