Diff b/w a CP1613 and normal ethernet cards

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Importing technical question of a user: I want to know the difference b/w CP1613 and normal ethernet cards on PC as there is a whooping cost difference b/w them and I was able to communicate with normal ethernet card, also. So, why should or what are the advantages of going with CP1613, over normal ethernet cards. Regards

The story about running the ISO/RFC1006 protocol stack into the Hardnet cardvs.OS is obsolite @ today PC and NIC performances. Where do you think the protocol is running faster on 486@100Mh (Hardnet) or P4@3Gh (PC)? This is just my opinion. Dec
