Memory card always innacessible and "internal programming device interface" is not active

I got a simatic field PG M3 with Windows 7 Professional. Wherecould the Problem Comes frome? Thanks for answers Fmanuel Hello, Try to start the program "Memory Card Parameter Assignment" (located in Siemens Automation -> SIMATIC -> STEP7"). Select the option "Internal programming device interface" and select OK. Now start Simatic Manager and see if you can select the memory card. Your HP have no internal programming device for S7 MMC! so you must buy a external USB S7 MMC Prommer Regards Christoph

Your HP have no internal programming device for S7 MMC! so you must buy a external USB S7 MMC Prommer Regards Christoph I have the external prommer, Simatic V5.5 + SP4 on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit HP Probook 650 G1 but and the Memory Card Parameter Assignment window does not show an external prommer option. All of it worked perfectly on my XP laptop. Can anybody help me on this please? Attachment fout.JPG (407 Downloads)
