error in installing Step-7 V5.4 +SP1(Error code 1607)

Path Advanced Member Joined: 6/28/2007 Last visit: 6/30/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	hi friends, i have one problem with installing Step-7 V5.4 + SP1 in my Laptop. i have windows XP with SP2 . i installed two windows Xp on my laptop on two separate drives. ( C & E Drive). i have already Step-7 V 5.2 on C- drive. i want to install Step-7 V5.4+ SP1 on E-drive. when i am going to install this software on E-drive it gives following error. 1607: installshield scripting runtime error.
