capricious_capricorn Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi all, We are in search ofsolution of one configuration which shall be able to connect one SCADA (WINCC) to 9, S7-200 station CPUs (CPU type 224XP).Whether this is possible over MPI network?What type of CP is required at the PC level?How can it be achieved using WINCC flexible?of CP is required at the PC level? There is no communication channel especialy for S7-200. But there isone soulution to use S7-200 and WinCC together. Use the PC-Access OPC-Server (for S7-200)and the WinCC OPC communication channel. You need: - PC-Access (max. 8 Connections); [https://www.automation.siemens.com/_en/s7-200/Products/03Software/pcaccess.html] - RS232 or USB /PPI-Cable [https://www.automation.siemens.com/_en/s7-200/Products/05Zubehoer/index.html] WinCC flexible Here you can use the S7-200 in the easy way. You are able to connect the S7-200 via serial interface and RS232/PPI-Cable. But the number of connections is limitid to 8. There is one way to get more than 8 connections: You can confige more than 8 connection, but only 8 are able to be online at the same time. There is a option to enable/disable a conection during runtime. So you can switch between the PLC if you want to use more than eight. Regards, Mausus

I just need some help or some documents to learn it by myself. my problem is : i made a simple system with S7 200 CPU 222 and it is working. i want to control it with a scada program. i have WinCC flexible. i searched and studied about some program samples. manuals and documents i found on the internet say i can create programs for HMI devices, transfer into them... but i dont have HMI device. I just want to simulate and control my working system with my laptop by using WinCC. i read your answers and i see that i can use WinCC flex with s7 200 together easily. but i dont know how to do this. for example, lets say i ceate screens, buttons or animations on WinCC. but how can i make connection between plc input/outputs and objects in my scada program such as button , image of a lamp... ? maybe this is begining of everything in Scada but.. i need help. i will be happy if you give or suggest me some documents or links about this. Thank you
