Hello William, to reform caps you can use AC-Voltage (mounted on the AC-supply terminals) or DC-Voltage (mounted on DC-Link-Terminals). The needed transformer mustn’t have much “power” (~ 5A max) because the Inverter runs out of load during reforming the caps. The important think here is the use of the correct Voltage; with that voltage the dielectric fluid of the caps will be reformed. If you don’t do that your caps (Inverter) will be destroyed.
