WinCC V6.2 graphics runtime problem

aktinaplan Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear All , I have a problem with wincc V6.2 runtime.When i try to get in the runtime mode it stops to load at 84%!Then a message appears which says "The graphics runtime is busy for '2' minutes". What should i do? Thank you in advanced!!!!!!

I hope there is some better solution to this. This particularly happens when 6.0 projects is opened in 6.2 Manmeet

sdr Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi are u using user archive?if Yes then,Do u have user archive license? if not then Decelect the opetion of User archive from the property and try to put ur project in runtime.i am asking because inuser archive need license. if u dont have the license then u will face such problem. Do other way round chek all the tag are configured Propery or not. Thanks and Regards Sdr

sdr Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi i would like suggest u that try to run same requriment in Wincc V6.0 because i have tryed and it was successful. ifu dont have user archive license then u could not able to do that, because i have confirmed from so many sorces. Try it Wish u good luck sdr

aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Starting or stopping the runtime sometimes stop with that 'funny' message about the two minutes. Now matter what I do after that the wincc project gives problems BUT ... when I tried the following my problem(s) was gone goto (windows)Start then Run.. then write 'reset_wincc.vbs' and run after about a minute you get a message 'ready' and then the complete wincc has stopped.You also need to do this if you want to ZIP your project . Let me know if it helps with your problem Eric

Palmerita Posts: 102 Rating: (13)	Yes that had been a solution also for me... and I find it the most reasonable, though not always work. For some specific reasonsI have to install WinCC in several computers, and all of them had a similar problem. So you could try: -installing the service pack 2 - updating windows (even sp 3 for xp will do, I think WinCC is now compatible with it) - Try the solution from aikona (Run -> reset_wincc.vbs )
